Can I use the map(s) on multiple devices?

Can I use the map(s) on multiple devices?

Yes you can!

Unlike Garmin, our Talkytoaster TT HD Topo/Topo Pro maps are licensed per customer/user,  not licensed per device (unlike Garmin's own maps) so they can be used on as many Garmin (or other compatible systems) as you personally own (for personal, non-commercial use) at no extra cost.

If you own multiple Garmin devices, such as a Fenix 5X and maybe a GPSMap66 you can use the same Talkytoaster TT HD Topo/Topo Pro map on all of them at no extra cost.

Likewise you can use the same map on your Android smartphone (or tablet) running OruxMaps. However, the OruxMaps app is not an official Garmin app (and it is created by a third party, but will generally render the Garmin IMG map file format correctly). The functionality when using our maps on OruxMaps will not be the same as on a Garmin device. We cannot, and do not  guarantee that our maps will work in OruxMaps.

Even though the maps appear to work fine in OruxMaps, I do not support them or offer support on using my maps on OruxMaps. If you are interested in trying out OruxMaps on Android, you can find it in the Google Play Store or via the Orux web site.

Please Remember: All Talkytoaster maps are licensed to you personally (not sold), this license for use is for just you and it is NOT transferable. In other-words, you MUST REMOVE/DELETE the map from the card or device if you plan on selling, part exchanging or giving away the device.

You must REMOVE the map/map  card when you no longer wish to use/own the device.

You are NOT allowed to share, sell, give away, or include the maps on devices or on any other media that you are selling, part exchanging or giving away or share/publish the download link or other material created/offered by Talkytoaster.

This is clearly stated in the Terms and Conditions that you agree to be legally bound by when purchasing maps or other services from Talkytoaster.
