Do you offer dedicated BaseCamp versions of the maps?

Do you offer dedicated BaseCamp versions of the maps?

Yes, we offer an electronic (download) of a single TT HD Topo or TT HD Topo Pro map for direct use in BaseCamp on a Windows PC or Mac ONLY (not a GPS).

However, there are three ways to use the map in Basecamp, these are:

1. When the Garmin with the map on is attached via the USB cable to your computer, the map will be temporarily pulled in, and you can use it in BaseCamp whilst the Garmin is attached to your computer.

The other two options give you access to the dedicated Basecamp version of the map, for direct install on to your computer, see below:

2. A one-off download version for BaseCamp (Windows or Mac) is £25, links below:

These are  available as a one-off download version of the map and this option does NOT include any updates or versions of the map for direct use on a Garmin device (GPS).

TT HD Topo Pro (DEM) versions of the map for BaseCamp are only available for selected countries, regions, states, provinces, etc. If a TT HD Topo Pro (DEM) version for GPS is available in the Automatic Downloads section of the shop, then we can supply a TT HD Topo Pro (DEM) version for BaseCamp.

3. A 6-month subscription (also £25) gives you access to both the GPS and dedicated BaseCamp versions of the map, plus all updates for the length of your subscription. The maps do not expire. This is a self-service option (you download the updated versions of the map as often as you wish during the subscription period. Link below:

The BaseCamp versions for a Windows PC or Mac  are recommended for those customers that want to use the maps on their computer without having to connect the Garmin device to the computer first.

If you want both the GPS version (for use on your Garmin device) and the dedicated BaseCamp version, and/or map updates, then it would be more cost effective to purchase one of our subscription offerings instead.
